Narration As Books The Last Dragon (L'Ultimo Elfo #1)

When the last dragon and the last elf break the circle, the past and the future will meet, and the sun of a new summer will shine in the sky.

In a world shrouded in darkness and continually lashed by rain, a young elf named Yorsh struggles to survive. His village has been destroyed by the torrential waters, leaving Yorsh suddenly orphaned and alone-the earth's last elf. But soon Yorsh discovers he is part of a powerful prophecy to save the world from the Dark Age that has begun. First, however, the young elf will have to find another orphaned creature-the world's last dragon.

Full of great tenderness and humor, this magical journey tells the story of a world plagued by intolerance and wickedness, and the elf and the dragon who will fight for its redemption and bring it back into the light.

Write-Up Appertaining To Books The Last Dragon (L'Ultimo Elfo #1)
The Last Dragon by Silvana DeMari is a good pick for the 4-6 grades: Attention elf and dragon lovers! Here is a book for you! Yorsh is a young elf just a baby really. He is wandering the earth looking for food and shelter. A woman comes to his aide and shares her food with him, even though there are strict laws against harboring elves. The two of them soon find themselves in trouble and are rescued by a hunter. The elf accidentally sees an ancient prophecy written on a wall saying that the last

Very good book. I love stories where almost all questions are answered and perspectives are explained. Theres always a reason the characters act the way they do- the elf is driven by emotion and belief in life, the humans are driven by needs or greed, and the dragon is driven by his righteous nature. Each hold each other in contempt or in fear of each other due to their perspective of each others actions. I liked the mindset of the elf the best, as contrary as it seems to the others.I think my

This is another book I recommend over and over and over again. It is exceptional. I loved it so much, I emailed the publisher in Italy to see if she would be writing another book soon, I loved it so much. (Answer: not currently) It's translated from Italian, so I don't know how much impact the translator has. I do know it is beautifully written, by one or both! :-) The story itself is wonderful, and that's all from Silvana, so she is definitely one of my fave authors. I hope she writes another

I bet the book is spectacular in the original language. The book is beautiful. Part 1 made me laugh a lot, even snorted in public while commuting to work. Part 2 was sad but still beautiful. Erbrow is one dragon that I would have loved to meet. Indeed, it is MAGNIFICIENT.

(Mi sono ripromessa di non rendere questa recensione troppo lunga anche perchè poi mi toccherà tradurla, ma non prometto niente: non sono sempre coerente, quando si tratta di questo libro I promised myself not to make this review too long also because Ill have to translate it later, but I wont guarantee it: Im not always coherent, when it comes to this book)ENGLISH TRANSLATION AT THE BOTTOM! NOT SPOILER FREE!!Se non ricordo male, ho letto questo libro per la prima volta quando avevo circa

I really enjoyed this story. Life, love, loss, starting again. The writing pulled me in and I joined with the elf, Yorsh, the dragon, Erbrow, and the young girl Robi. It is a journey tale. It is a tale of perseverance. It is a tale of being kind even when the world around you is not.I believe fans of The Last Dragonslayer by Jasper Fforde, and Neil Gaiman's Stardust would enjoy this book.As a side note, the judge, met on pages 284-286, sounds like or current president though this book was

This book really surprised me. Despite being for children it didn't pull any punches when it comes to death or human cruelty. For example, a lot of the events and themes remind me of books about the Holocaust -- the indoctrination about "enemies", prejudice/hatred towards the elves, the rounding up into "elf camps", and genocide. I would definitely recommend giving this book a read. The only disappointing thing about this book is that it's a series and the rest of the series is not available in
