Holy.Smokes. *thud* If vanilla is your flavor of choice for reading material, go find some vanilla....CUZ THIS AIN'T IT!!!! This is like rocky road/cappucino swirl/moose tracks blizzard with whipped cream and a freakin' cherry on top!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Heartbreaking and heartwrenching are what comes to mind when I think about Gideon and the conclusion to his story. What an awesome read. The emotional and physical suffering was so overwhelming. The constant conflict within

I did found this conclusion to Gideon's story to be a fulfilling one, to be sure. As started in Vampire Mistress, Gideon, former vampire hunter and now third-marked servant, works with Daegan Rei, vamp and Council assassin, to ease Anwyn's transition into the vampire world. As a newly turned vamp by another vamp of "poor stock" (lol), she suffers from seizures that are difficult to control and put her in jeopardy when she must come before the Council to be validated as a "made" vampire. If I liked femdom then I might have loved this book. I was hoping that there would he more Daegan and Gideon action, given the name of the book.I threw in the towel when i had to skim too much to make it worth going on. Male slaves are apparently not my thing. Back to doms and signing off this series.

Could not put this down, read through the small hours.. Continues the story of Gideon, Daegan and Anwyn. Seriously hot story of vampire menage and BDSM! Loved the relationship between the super cool 700 year old vampire Daegan and angst-ridden ex vampire-hunter Gideon."For so long you felt alone, watching out for others," the vampire murmured into the crown of his head. 5/14-Gideon still makes my heart ache. I'm still completely jealous of Anwyn. Daegan is still the cat's pajamas.If Ms. Hill wants to tell more of this story in the future I would not be mad about that. She keeps referring to Anwyn as a sorceress; Ill tell you who the sorceress around here is-its Joey freakin Hill! I could not put these down and can definitively say Ill read them again. Needless to say its an action packed, dramatic conclusion full of heart wrenching emotion and Ms. Hills
