Interpretation Concering Books The Princess's Dragon (The Breath Of The Divine #1)

Flanked by two lovely and graceful sisters, Princess Casiondra Falanell Cristalona Ariva - Sondra to her family - doesn't feel confident or beautiful. In fact, she's an unconventional princess who spends her days trying to disprove the nonsensical ideas of magic and myth.

As she stands on the edge of achieving the life she has only dreamed about, Sondra's handsome suitor, Derek, prepares to propose, and her poverty-stricken kingdom of Ariva uncovers a valuable resource that will change its future forever.

Everything seems perfect in Sondra's life until she encounters a wizard who transforms her into a monstrous dragon. Forced to flee from the man she adores, Sondra blunders into the territory of Tolmac, a powerful and ancient black dragon.

Instead of killing her as she anticipates, Tolmac takes her under his wing, unknowingly training the human princess in the fine art of being a dragon. As Sondra soon discovers, she must constantly sacrifice to make the right choices as she grows to love and admire her new mentor. With her homeland poised on the brink of war, Sondra finds herself facing an unbearable decision; she must choose between her heart and her duty to her country.

Commentary Out Of Books The Princess's Dragon (The Breath Of The Divine #1)
I liked the premise and the main characters in this book. At many times in the book, the audience is treated to stories since Sondra apparently loves been narrated to, which at times makes it feel a little Arabian Nightish (though just a little). Although the stories did add a little charm to it and were entertaining to hear, it was a tad annoying to have the main character crib for stories every now and then. The writing and character portrayal is in keeping with a young audience, if only for

( The Princess's Dragon by Susan Trombley )I discovered this book a few years back right here on GoodReads however I delayed purchasing it due to its unavailability in actual stores, the only place I could ever find it was online and at an outrageous price. This year however I took a breath and closed my eyes, taking the plunge and spending way too much money for a single book so that I may finally have it. Honestly I don't want to write an excruciatingly long review over this book so I'll try

To be honest, dragons are my all time favourite mythalogical creature. (Sorry for spelling mind wandering a bit). But i battled to get past the first few chapters after she turned into one. I have nothing against the characters in the book, but i found Sondra lacking in something to want me to slog it out. I might read it again later when i am in a different mood but for now its a regretable DNF from me...

There is no such thing as magic? This one started out pretty slow for me. I had a hard time staying interested until I had gotten through several chapters. I like the course the tool with Sondra and magic, I'd explain more, but that would leave spoilers.

Sadly, this book did not soar high like a dragon, it plummeted to the ground like a dead one. This book had potential, but the writing was atrocious. It's super boring and dry, a stiff read. Don't think it's a dry read like reading a classic piece of literature, this was dry because the author didn't know how to properly use the English language to enliven their writing. It was very basic writing. I read the first few chapters, was exceedingly bored, checked out some reviews, and decided to read

While this book is based on a good idea and has a nice writing style, the total randomness of the story line has dropped my note from 4 stars to 2.It is a very frustating read.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGA Must read!! This is such a good dragon fantasy story! It starts a bit slow, but keep going and you will be rewarded! Dragon history, wizardry, war and battles, espionage, family intrigue, heartbreak, it's all there. Great plot! Definitely continuing this series.
