Hidden Wings by Cameo Renae I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.I just love Ms. Cameo Renae! I really enjoy reading her Young Adult books. Even with all the drama and craziness that goes on within the story, her books just make a person feel goodwell at least they make me feel good! I always love the romance in Cameo Renaes novels. Her writing always brings me in and makes me want to have that romance. Granted, the relationship of Hidden Wings is just a tad bitFinished and said "OMG NOOOOOOO!" and immediately wanted to tear into the next one. WRITE FASTER, Cameo!!! Cameo Renae weaves and amazing tale from page ONE of Hidden Wings. The first chapter drags your heart through the mud and makes you weep for the heroine, Emma. She keeps your attention through the entire book with her amazing humor (such as monster massages and adorable banter with giant, muscly, sexy protectors!) and the crazy mystery of all that is going on. Emma's Earth-shaking
I know what you're thinking. "But Mary, you said you would finish all your ARCs! Plus look, wings! You love wings!" First, clearly you know a lot about me. It's a bit creepy but mostly I'd like to apologize for forgetting your name which I probably have. Second, you would be right! I did in fact swear that I would finish all my ARCs and I do love wings. So how on Earth can I justify not only DNF-ing this, but also DNF-ing it only 10% in? 10%. Yeah. Do you know the last book that I put down that
DNF at 75%I love YA/NA paranormals. I LOVE THEM, but this one was so boring. Just when I thought we were getting to a good part in the story, it would go back and get predictable and boring again. The romance between the heroine and Kade was predictable and boring. NO DRAMA...no nothing. You basically know how they both feel for each other immediately. The promises and the electrical touch...blah, blah, blah. So predictable. And the aunt never finding the right time to explain everything to the
Fooled by another pretty cover, this paranormal YA novel was not for me. I DNFed around page fifty, my new goal, and could barely get there. However, I will say fans of A Beautiful Dark, Halo, Evermore, Fallen, and the House of Night series will eat this up. Let me share some of the lines and issues I had with it for you to decide if this one appeals to you.Product placement. I know there is another word for it but it escapes me right now. Anyway, there are a lot of modern devices and things

Hidden Wings was a predictable kind of book. Even though it was entertaining enough to listen to at work and ya know.. work, a lot of it was still predictable. Emma, the MC, goes through a lot of unexpected shit. Especially in the first couple of chapters. It was like one bomb hit and exploded but also ended up hitting a shit ton of other bombs 'causing a crazy ass explosion. Yeah, like that.Well, she wakes up in a hospital to find out she was in a car accident with her parents. They didn't make
