5/5 Stars. This book BLEW ME AWAY. I dont think I have ever loved a sequel so much.I feel so satisfied with this novel. It was everything I could have wanted from the Three Dark Crowns when I first started. It is action packed, intense, and very complex. The strain on character relationships deepen, political tensions continue to rise, and it is full of enticing events that hooked me the entire time. The pacing was much better than book one in my opinion and I feel the increase in significant

Now that the sequel is almost here I can read this one without having to experience the cliffhanger for long. Cant wait to see my favorite (Katharine) be a badass.
