Interpretation In Favor Of Books Dime quién soy

My first experience with Julia Navarro's books was with "La Sangre de los Inocentes" and I was really disappointed by it. The books was nothing as I expected it to be and I kind of have ruled her out for my future readings. However, when looking for a new book to read, a friend recommended this book, and since we have shared good recommendations before I decided to follow her advice. For every detail I didn't like from the first book, this one exceed by far my expectations. The story is
I bought the book 2 years ago, waiting on my bookshelf crying all the time " read me, read me". Today I red the last page and closed the book.I must say during the time I was reading the book I was only physically present. Mentally I was walking aside Amelia traveling with her, feeling the tortures, the courage, the love and the pain she endured. It's been a long time I've been reading such a good novel. Thank you Julia Navarro
I felt totally cheated after finishing this book. The plot is entertaining, the story holds pretty well, and the characters are attractive. However, after more than a thousand pages, I expect for the author to take the time to give the book a decent end. And I dont refer to the content, Im fine with how it ends. It is the fact that she rushes through it in two pages that feel insufficient.
It's a great book, one of the bests that I have read. It's very well writen and it's an amazing book for people who want to know how people lived in Europe in the 20 century.
3.5 STARSI struggled a little to read this book because of the tiny letters. It had a very interesting synopsis, was bought for me by mom and chosen from the huge TBR pile by my sister. The book shows us the story of Amelia, a noble Spanish woman, who suffered the sad outcomes of her choices. I have to say she grew a lot throughout the book; from a shallow easy-manipulated girl to a courageous woman with a mind of her own. I started to like her character by the end of the book, which was at one
There was something in the prose of the book that kept bothering me; still now, after finishing, I'm not fully sure what it was... probably the great-grand-child who narrates the story and who doesn't seem to add anything to the story. Other than that, I loved the story of the great grand mother. Julia Navarro has done a great job documenting the historical moment which is quite an achievement taking into account that the book covers from the Spanish Civil War, the 2nd World War and finishes
