Great book about how to use the mind to better yourself. It's the kind of book I've made notes in and will continue to go back for reference.

Im not one for how to books, but the author took the time to go into great detail about the various methods that one can use to retrain his/her mind. From controlling pain to overcoming emotional and physical barriers. In one of the chapters, the author went to the method to use to show how to disassociate ones self from the Ego. Emphasizing that the Ego is not alive, that its just an illusion and its only the self that gives credibility to the Ego. By disassociating the self with the Ego, it



Retraining your mind. That's the premise of this book and although I was a bit sceptical at first, I began to really identify with a lot of the premises of the book. For instance people in extreme pain can use the experience to re-train their mind to control the pain. This goes for physical or emotional pain. George explains how tapping into one's conscious and even subconscious can train your brain to react differently to inner and external stimuli. The Ego chapter was an eye opener. It

At first I was a bit sceptical about reading the book cause I am a kind of pissed of with all those "How to" books usually full of stupid, often impractical advice. Also, I don't usually like the imperative tone saying "you must do this". After reading the first few pages, however, I found out I was intrigued by the logical explanations in the book. It is often repeated like a "mantra" we must think positively and it will help us be the most successful in life. People daily share nice morning

To be frank, I'm more into those books that have dragons, superheroes, and explosions. However, this book, both informative and uplifting, was an excellent addition to my collection of novels. It proved a wide range of information and provides a guide to understanding and reconstructing yourself. A great read for anybody.
