Sorry, BB, but OH SHIT NO. The only good thing about this book is that that placeholder cover confirmed one of my assertions: baseball caps are not hot. IN THE LEAST. EVER. Edit: okay, so I have a sick sense of curiosity, but I Googled this and came up with some more sketches. I have to say, the artist got Patch and Nora down. He looks like an asshole and she looks like an airhead. Well done! Edit #2: BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA FUCK WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS WITH THIS FUCKING COVER I ASK YOU? That's hilarious. I kind of love it, actually. I mean, his wings are the wrong color. And what the fuck is that expression on his face? Constipation? This book is such a joke. This one, not the original. The original is Serious Business because it is the Lowest of the Low and reminds us of how far the YA genre has fallen. But this is a joke. And apparently all Patch had to fill his time before he met Nora was pump iron, because he's pretty built. Not in the attractive Thor way, either. Imagine if Nora had come along a century later. I never knew a book from my favourite series had a graphic novel.. I NEED IT IN MY HANDS NOW

I love the Hush Hush Novel but this! This is just unacceptable. The illustrations are nothing like them and IT IS NOT THEM. This is not patch and nora. The cover is a buff man maybe in his 30's give or take. Patch is a teenager-ish in looks and is lean and taut not beefy. Just right in physique. So I am very disappointed. I really don't know why I decided to torture myself. Really don't. I'm just going to say that reading this in graphic novel form really highlights all of the sexism and disgusting behavior that permeated the actual book. You get to see the coach in all of his disturbing, student-traumatizing glory. Patch acting like the stalker-douchebag that he truly is, all the while wearing baseball caps (I don't remember him wearing a hat in every scene in the book, but that's just me). I got this book earlier than I was suppose to.Was I happy?Yes.Am I happy after reading this?Not exactly.I hate the drawings of Vee. She looks, no offense, like a fat guy with some girl expressions and "mom-jeans".
